Relationship model: The Executive Director maintains the institutional court/VJO relationship. After a Veteran is referred, an assigned VSC handles the Veteran's service workflow. This page does not represent that a specific court or government agency has endorsed or formally partnered with McBride Pathways unless separately confirmed.
Referral pathway
Court/VJO or justice partner identifies a Veteran who may benefit and addresses appropriate consent for referral.
The professional submits the McBride Pathways referral form or another mutually approved secure referral method.
The referral is linked to the partner source and assigned to a VSC for contact, eligibility and intake.
The VSC coordinates suicide-prevention support, case management, VA/community connections and warm handoffs within program scope.
Case information is not returned to a court merely because it made the referral. Communication follows authorization, privacy requirements and any approved information-sharing process.
For court and VJO leaders
McBride Pathways welcomes conversations about referral workflow, points of contact, presentations, resource coordination, and appropriate written agreements when needed.
