For Referral Professionals

A clear referral pathway for professionals serving Veterans in Hamilton, Butler, and Warren Counties.

Who may refer

VA and Vet Center teams, Veterans Service Commissions, SSVF/GPD and housing providers, behavioral-health and substance-use providers, shelters, health systems, Veteran organizations, employment/education programs, courts/VJO, probation/reentry, and other community partners.

What we provide

Suicide-prevention support, outreach, case management, service planning, resource navigation, VA/Vet Center connection, warm referrals, employment/vocational support within approved program scope, and follow-up.

Service area

Hamilton, Butler, and Warren Counties, Ohio. Eligibility and enrollment are determined by McBride Pathways after referral.

How a professional referral works

Submit the secure referral form with the minimum information needed to make contact.
A McBride Pathways VSC receives the referral and begins follow-up.
The VSC confirms eligibility, completes the appropriate intake and safety process, and develops next steps with the Veteran.
When another provider is needed, the VSC coordinates a warm handoff. Information is shared back with a referring organization only when authorized and appropriate.

What we do not promise

A referral does not guarantee eligibility, enrollment, funding, housing, clinical treatment, or a particular outcome. McBride Pathways coordinates services within its approved program scope and refers outside that scope when appropriate.
